Ally Lamson is a Senior Associate at Jacobs Berger, LLC. Ally practices exclusively family related matters. Ally was graduated in 2012 from Duke University School of Law and simultaneously earned a Master’s of Psychology from the Duke Graduate School for Psychology and Neuroscience.

Ally served as the law clerk to the Honorable Margaret Goodzeit, then Presiding Judge of the Family Part in Somerset County. She has practiced in Morris County and several other New Jersey counties throughout the state. Ally has been recognized as a Rising Star by New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine.

Ally successfully argued Landers v. Landers, 2016 N.J.Super. LEXIS 25 (App. Div. 2016) which is the first published decision which addresses the September 2014 amendments to the New Jersey alimony statute.

Ally approaches every conflict with the philosophy articulated by Roger Fisher that “As useful as looking for objective reality can be, it is ultimately the reality as each side sees it that constitutes the problem in a negotiation.”
